Many people these days don't just dream about an idyllic retirement where they buy a boat and 'do it up' they actively do something about it. No doubt some of those reading this web page share that dream but perhaps have less idea of how to realise it.
Not only does Martham Boats provide an extensive building and repair service, we are also almost unique in offering a well-established and professionally supervised facility for D.I.Y. enthusiast.
Literally everything is available: materials, lifting gear, transport and slipway access. Marine hardwoods, paints, fixings, and one off items can be supplied. Our sheds are equipped with industrial woodworking machinery which enable us to form, cut and trim timber to your exact specifications.
The location of our sheds enable easy access either by road or water. Outside storage is available in a large enclosed compound with security gate, and electricity points and water close to hand.
An upholstery and sail loft is also on site , where sails, boom covers, bunks cushions, and curtains can be made from a wide range of materials and to the customers specifications.
You are free to do as much or as little work on your vessel as you please.
