Crimson Dawn B695. Built 1938 as a 'Luxury Cruiser' by A.O. King in Wroxham. 28' (9' Beam) centre cockpit. Hardwood (Teak) Hull on Oak frame. Head room 5'9" to 6'. Saloon 8' fitted with 2x 6'6" spring berths with backrests, fore cabin fitted with 2x 6'3" spring berths. Large drawers under each berth. Spacious galley, gas cooking and 12v fridge. Toilet compartment with flushing WC and handbasin.
BMC 1500 diesel. Well maintained (professionally, John Halstead), cylinder head overhaul 2008 (John Halstead). Runs perfectly.

Spent war years on Salhouse Broad to deter enemy landings. Bought by 2 Lancaster pilots after the war and remained in their ownership (Colin Dawson) for many years on the Broads and in undercover storage. Bought by Paul McMahon 2009 and subsequently professionally (John Halstead) and discreetly modernised (Electric Winch, 240V power with inverter/charger and shore, Thermostat controlled Hot Air Heating, TV fittings). All WC hoses replaced 2010 (Moonfleet). New carpets 2009 and full valet 2010 (Moonfleet). Wetshed moored since last purchase. Out of water (Moonfleet) 2010 for hull coating, prop service and replacement anode.
