Here at Martham Boat Building & Dev Co Ltd, we have an upholstery and sail loft on site. This department is run by our Senior Sail & Cover Maker, James Davidson, who was trained in traditional sail making, and has over 20 years experience.
We are able to supply canopy frames in stainless steel and aluminium. All covers are individually patterned for a snug fit and all windows and seams are welded using a high frequency machine.
If you wish to give your boat that “good as new” look then why not consider re-upholstering. Choose from a massive selection of materials, colours and finishes to give your boat the individuality it deserves. Whether you want deep buttoning, floating cushions, new curtains or headlinings, new bunks or mattresses our experts are able to help.
Own a sailing craft? Looking for that extra performance? Sails getting a bit tired? We can manufacture you a new suit in house. All our sails are made to measure and we are also able to supply rigging in either wire or rope.
Our repair service is fast and efficient and we are not just restricted soley to boats. Some of the upholstery work that we carry out here at Martham have included repairs for cars and buses.
