Sailing traditional broads sailing yacht on the idyllic Norfolk Broads

Discover traditional Norfolk Broads sailing yacht hire with Martham Boats. Our fleet of wooden and glass fibre yachts offers accommodation for two to eight people, with options for couples, families and groups of friends.

Set sail from our family-run boatyard on the Upper Thurne for a sailing holiday or short break. Explore towards Hickling Broad and Horsey Mere, enjoying open water, reed-lined rivers and opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.

Our yachts range from approximately 27ft to 36ft. Check each yacht’s listing for its berth layout, equipment and facilities to find the right boat for your crew.

Please discuss your sailing experience and crew with us before booking. If you are new to sailing or would like a refresher, we can discuss tuition options and help you plan a suitable introduction to sailing on the Broads.

Routes around the Upper Thurne can be enjoyed without passing through Potter Heigham Bridge. For holidays exploring further afield, bridge passage depends on the yacht, water levels and available clearance, with the mast lowered where required. Our staff take our hired yachts through Potter Heigham Bridge when conditions allow.

The prices shown are for boat hire. Please check the applicable additional charges when booking, including the non-refundable damage waiver, pets and car parking.
