Canoeing/Kayaking on the rivers of the Norfolk Broads is a wonderfully fun and safe experience for both intermediate and novice canoeists alike.
There is ample opportunity to pack a picnic and go exploring the marvels of the River Thurne by canoe. This leads you to both Horsey Mill and Hickling Broad. This part of the river Thurne is quiet and safe to paddle as Potter Heigham Bridge restricts the boat traffic.
Horsey you will be able to visit the wind mill and grab yourself refreshments from the tea room before the paddle back.

Canoes can get alot of places that a dayboat cannot get. into the shallows of Hickling to the best bird watching places
All our canoes are designed to carry either 2/3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 small children, with our kayaks being for a single person.
